Industrial abandoned buildings in the middle of an urban district with a big canale area. The scene contains highly detailed objects like modular elevations, metal constructions, containers, drills, fences, loader, and many more to build such a district. Most assets were built based on the photogrammetry technique and properly optimized and hand-tweaked to work in real-time scenes on UE4 and UE5. There were prepared two lighting setup day and dark overcast. This pack includes a mannequin by Epic Games for presentation.

Unfortunately, we didn’t make it this time. But it was close enough and we added Update 1 with over 25 interesting building prefabs. Hope it will help you make maps even faster! :)

Technical Details
Be aware that Unreal 5 now has Lumen enabled by default. We still support a more game-ready pipeline, and you should disable this feature in your project settings to get results like our screenshots for 5.0. We added support for Lumen and Nanite with version 5.1+. Could look a little different than the original. You can check DEMO to see the differences.

Insanely EPIC!
Wow, there is just so, so much to digest with this asset….proabably because there are a hell of a lot of them stuffed into this pack. More than AAA top shelf quality, this is definitely the type of thing you find in the back room reserved for special customers. I don’t use assets/environments for game creation, but rather cinematics, so I can’t comment on game mechanics….but wow, after only a brief play around and walkthrough of this tour de force set, I already have a multitude of storylines running rampant in my head. Keep this sh*t coming, and I’ll definitely be back for more.
P.S. A remake of your Abandoned Factory Buildings with these assets would be totally amazing!
Best industrial map
The map is amazing, the amount of detail, the light. Screenshots don’t show everything, you need to see it in realtime.
I don’t see any problems with duplicated assets as in the review below. A few assets from previous packs, but it’s better to have them together in one pack here than not having them at all if you only buy this pack.
Overall 700 assets, you can make a lot of your own ideas with it. Best industrial pack on the marketplace. AAA+ quality.

Cinematic rendering crashes
I have the same problem as yvesblache. When trying to export a cinematic with Movie Render Queue on this map, my UE crashes and it says I’m too low on video memory, even though my PC should be able to handle it fine.
I’ve tried steps from the Docummentation, like lowering the capture set from 2048 to 512 etc, but trying to render even at 426×240 crashes Unreal for me.
I’ll admit I’m not too familiar with unreal engine yet, and I might be missing some important option that I can optimize for rendering. Any tips or help would be highly appreciated.

Disable 21:9 in demo
Turns out the demo is in 21:9 with no option to change it in the settings. How exactly could I change this myself?

ressources for Cinematic
I have a huge computer. I9-14900k, 64B RAM, RTX 4070TI 16gb etc… and each time I am trying to export a cinematic in sequencer out of this map, it give me the error saying that I am too low on video Memory. I think this map is just taking too much ressources

Our cinematic was recorded on 3070. I don’t think it’s too heavy for sure. Maybe somewhere you have too bigger values to render? :)
And if you are not using it, we will recommend render by Movie Render Queue :)

Third person blue print error
Demo scene is not generating any movie just error messages. I do not think so its compatible with 5.
If you try 4.7 its working properly, any chance to make compatible with 5. I know its lots work. you already build beautifull assets.

I would say it’s our new menu and pawn system in UE5. Have you checked the documentation? You can easily turn off menu by changing HUD in world settings to default.

Day and Night
Hi guys, can you tell me how do I switch from Day to Night scene. I am doing a short movie with your map and was wondering if there is a blueprint somewhere to switch or do we have to do it manually ?

Should be in the documentation, but for the fast answer – we controlled it in persistent blueprint by loaded/unloading sublevels with lighting scenario. Should be pretty easy to control in sequencer. There is no special blueprint for it, as we don’t need it ;)
And you can do “always loaded” lighting scenario you want only for render ;)

Most of them from Poland as we are living here. Easiest way to make photogrammetry scans :)
And as we realized project based in Chernobyl we visited many abandoned places to get such inspirations :)

Blinking squares in the windows
Hi, great package. But when I render out a camera (or preview it) in sequencer, I get these large blinking squares in the windows. Any way I can fix this?

Rendering is not Working
Beautiful assets and showcase, but demo map does not function.
I am unable to Render anything from it. I attempt to follow instructions. It does not function.
Unfortunately, this asset is reserved for semi-pro and professional UE users.
I am a novice UE user who generates backgrounds using maps. Neither resel nor demo.
If you could assist me with this matter, I would greatly appreciate it.
Note:
It would be helpful if sellers made it clear to buyers what level they made the assets and demo for:
Yellow for newbies, green for semi-pros, and red for professionals.

Hello,
It’s probably because of the pawn and its widget menu. If you delete whole this stuff you should be able to easily run rendering. It’s in our documentation under the section “User menu”.

Is this different to Urban Bundle?
I’m just watching the videos on this asset and wondering if this is a totally different asset to the Urban District bundle? It looks like it to me.
Going to buy this to complement the Urban bundle. It looks phenomenal.

This is a new Big Scene, definitely greater than Urban Abandoned District. The level is really huge, you need to check a playable DEMO. As I mentioned to you in the previous answer we allow ourselves to use old assets to give you as full level as possible. So you can notice the same pallet, one of the barrels, an old van, etc. as from the Urban Abandoned District scene. Of course, main-level construction models such as buildings, metal constructions, grounds, and tons of props are totally new. If you want please send us an e-mail and I’ll mark you old assets in the overview level.

Hi, this pack not included any of our earlier packages. We used some of the assets from previous scenes like rusty van car or loader (in static mesh version). If you are wondering why we do it, we really want to give you complete look levels. Attention to detail is very important to us, and we are thinking if you get 5-10% assets from our previous scenes it is ok and we think it’s fair and worth it :)

A demo map is included in the package. If you are asking about a playable map before purchase – We are just started testing such a solution. For now, today we shared the first demo of Lost Temple Cave and Ancient Temple on our discord channel if you are interested.
There will be more information if we prepare nanite and lumen versions also for this package :) You could write us about what you expect for such a demo. It will help us prepare proper options.

Abandoned City is on our list. We have a lot of source materials with it. But for this year we will be more focus on Medieval/Ruins environments :) Except for one package in an industrial style which should be in the next 2-3 months :)

Looks great, I watched the Flythrough as well as Walkthrough but neither give an indication of a average FPS on the map, the resolution it was filmed in, etc. Could You provide us with a Demo so we can get an idea for ourselves? Would be much appreciated!

GTX 1070: 100-120 FPS
GTX 2070: 150-200 FPS
GTX 3090: more than 120 FPS on WQHD resolution
