Hidden temple behind a waterfall and a cave system inside. High-quality photogrammetry scans like rocks, cobblestones, altar, sculpture. Included a map which can show you what you can do underground. But of course, you can use this also normally outdoors and blend it with the landscape.

In regards to the question about the engine crashing when opening in a Virtual Production template, it has everything to do with reflections (which the author mentions) but to give a solution, go into your project settings and search reflections and set your reflections to 8. If you are using lumen you wont need this setup default.
Great but add more scans, please!
Nice photorealistic 3D scans, looking awesome in-game, however there’re only a few 3D scanned assets to make caves. I would appreciate if you would add more of them and possibly scan them from same location to be coherent in look! You could also introduce another package to build Skyrim like mines and caves, there is no package with AAA quality on marketplace for such environments, all look crappy. Thanks.

I didnt think this asset would be that great considering there are few meshes – but the quality of the Meshes is awesome.
My only addition would be to add a detail normal map and detail base color to the material for close-up shots.

There is detail normal map in the material and it makes it look better.

Like in description you have 14 unique meshes. And for 8 of them we added closed version with free UPDATE 1 :)
This is useful for many environments like with demo map. Not all of course and we are sorry that you are disappointed. For sure this is not end of our free updates for this map and then we hope it will be more useful for you also.

I’ve got your Abandoned Factory, your prop pack, and now this. All your projects are professional. up to glorious 4K texture options, models with proper collisions, properly scaled assets, and closed meshes where it’s important.
Only your most recent pack is left to get. If that goes on 50%, I don’t think I’ll be able to resist. I need abandoned assets, and your work is top of my list to purchase.

Closed Meshes
Writing a review now as the closed meshes were just added, incredible surprise. Increases the ease of use tenfold and still looks great!

good, but the wall shapes are difficult to work with
Good, but the wall shapes are difficult to work with. They have particular irregular shapes and are hard to line up without creating an angle where the player can see the wrong side of the mesh, and even the demo level has this oversight. Because of this, I think it will be easiest to use some of these asset to decorate other packs so that those edges can be hidden.
Also, there is something subtly not quite right about the tessellated cobblestone. I can’t put my finger on it. Uncanny valley maybe. Some of the textures are a bit blurry too. All said though, its a good pack

Is this still a problem or its better now?
Excellent cave set!
The pack includes a great variety of beautifully textured, realistic looking assets. I know most everything here is derived from photo scans but one nice addition would be the inclusion of some fully closed rock meshes to make assembling cave walls and cliff faces just a bit easier.

If you first add the pack to a 4.24 project file you’re able to migrate all content to a 4.25 project file with no issues.

Lighting Issue
Is there a way when looking around the lights go dark and bright depending on when you see them, can I remove this, please? Using 5.4

It’s auto-exposure Unreal Engine feature. If you want to have fixed exposure, go to post-process and set min and max Exposure to brightness you want :)

I think if the tessellation starts to work properly(right now people have some problems with it) then we will bring back tessellation to our packages. Can’t promise for now but personally I hope we will do it! Just because we love that kind of feature ;)

Are Height Maps Available?
Hi, Great kit. I was wondering if it would be possible to include any heightmaps with the assets for things like displacment? Not sure what method was used to create these assets, so I understand if that is not a possibility.

Unfortunately, pipeline itself is a little more complicated. Usually, we have some base of scans and we are using parts of them to build a ready new asset. Meantime we are fixing all the problems on the way with geometry and textures. Adding a displacement map will force redone everything here.
We have plans to refresh all our packages for UE5 when it will be fully ready. Maybe then will be some time for improvements :) Now sorry but we can’t help you better.

Thank you! About Mac, we can’t say it for 100% and the reason is very simple – we don’t have Mac. But the scene is quite “simple”, we don’t use fancy shaders or effects. UNREAL 5 ENGINE PROBLEMS

Out of memory error
When opening the demonstration map I get out of memory to allocate texture error with OK button that kills UE. Happens on 4.25.4, didn’t try others. I’m on 3090 and have 64GB RAM on the system so I doubt it is really a memory issue. I have had same thing happen with one other map from marketplace, that one worked on 4.24 but died same way on 4.25. Please fix

Everything is about how filmic/television template deal with reflections resolution. It puts it to limits and set it by default to 2048. It’s really huge number for reflections. I assume Epic wants to use this template only to really not complicate scenes or just with raytracing where You don’t need reflection captures actors. Or just for some crazy machines for films production.
For now our recommendation is use gametemplate or use filmic but lower reflection captures resoultion to something reasonable 512 or 1024 in defaultgame.ini config. Of course you can also delete all reflections captures and use Ray-Tracing reflections.

Looks different
For some reason the scene looks different from the images and videos, can you share your settings?
I’m using 3080 RTX tried both with 4.26 and 4.25

Hmm strange. We didn’t use any special settings for cameras. And few times we saw scene on internet and looks same. Maybe are you using RT by default? We know Epic change default exposure since 4.25. Maybe this is it. We have separete build for 4.24 because of it. You can try with that or any previous version.

Cave system
How much are these meshes modular to create a cave system, because they look fantastic. Just trying to figure out how well you can place them together to create a caves…

Demo scene lag
The demo map is gorgeous but it’s extremely laggy. I’m using a GTX 1070 which should be able to handle this. Do you know why it might be lagging?

Rocks
Are these just front facing rocks? I’m trying to see how these all fit together but none of the rocks have been sculpted on the back.

demo map crashes
like someone here posted before, the demo map crashes after first use, not just the map level but Unreal completely. I’m using an rtx 2080ti , so i know it is not a memory issue. Please fix this. thank you.

I assume Epic wants to use this template only to really not complicate scenes or just with raytracing where You don’t need reflection captures actors. Or just for some crazy machines for films production.
For future we will prepare separate map with RTX only. For now our recommendation is use gametemplate or use filmic but lower reflection captures resolution to something reasonable 512 or 1024 in defaultgame.ini config. stuckon3d contact us by email and we try investigate his rare problem. Thanks that You write to us! :) For now we can confirm it crash our demo-map only on Film/Movie Template and version 4.25 and above. Everything work perfect with previous engine versions and with all versions on normal Game Template project.
Sorry for inconvenient. We will contact to Epic because it’s look like some problem with reflection captures actors on Film/Movies Template. Even without our package and only on empty level.
We will inform You when we find out what is happening. Right now we have fast fix map. If You needed this specific Unreal Film Template please write to us :)

Crashes trying to open Demo map
Whenever trying to open the Demo map it says GPU runs out of memory trying to allocate a texture. This is on a RTX 2080 Super, is this common? I was able to open it once and tried to force no precomputed lighting but crashed right as I did it. All other apps are closed, just unreal running.

Hi,
We tested the 4.25 upgrade map, but when we opened it, there was some fog problem. When we opened the map again, it works perfectly.
We want to wait for patches to version 4.25, before we will fully support this version. But as I wrote, it should work fine after adding 4.24 package to project 4.25 :)
